Understanding GroupBook Contract Types
GroupBook provides hotel admins with various contract types, offering flexibility and customization to meet your specific business needs.
Here's an overview of the different contract types available:
Promoted Rooms (Events)
- Notification: Receive email notifications about upcoming events within a 20-mile radius of your hotel, including estimated attendance and room type preferences.
- Dashboard Interaction: Log in to your dashboard to select events and offer rooms. Choose from various room types and combinations.
- Customization: Set parameters like cutoff dates, planner points, attrition, etc.
- Contract Generation: After submission, GroupBook admins review and generate a contract based on the event's start and end dates.
Promoted Rooms (Custom Dates)
- Flexibility: Similar to Promoted Rooms (Events), but with complete flexibility to enter any configuration of dates. This type is not linked to a specific event.
- Contract Details: The contract reflects your custom dates and rates.
Promoted Rooms (GroupBook Rate Plan)
- Long-Term Offering: Select rooms to offer for a 12-month period with optional blackout dates.
- Dynamic Rate: The rate fluctuates in line with daily GDS prices, offering a dynamic pricing structure.
- Block Requests: Rooms must be requested in blocks, and availability is confirmed with you before approval.
- Pre-Agreed Prices: Room prices are agreed upon in advance based on the daily market value.
Block Requests
- General Block Requests: Guests request a block of rooms at your property.
- Pricing Discussion: GroupBook reaches out to you to discuss pricing upon receiving a block request.
- Traditional Contract: If rates are accepted, a traditional contract for block requests is initiated.
